Run your volleyball tournament or league on VB League
Create the event, add its divisions, choose how players pay, then open registration. It appears on the board players already come to when they are looking for their next game, and on your own site at your own web address.
What you get
- Your own site: your-name.vbleague.com, with your picture, your description and every event you publish.
- Divisions the way you run them: price per team, per player or per entrant; capacity; men’s, women’s, co-ed or open; skill levels; free agents formed into teams; your own waiver.
- Registration that runs itself: the window opens and closes on the dates you set, a team holds no spot until it is confirmed, and the waitlist fills spots as they open.
- Rosters, schedules, pools, brackets and scores, from the web dashboard and the app on the day. Standings and brackets update as scores are recorded, and players see them on the event page.
- Players hear from you: reminders, schedule changes, scores and fee notices reach the roster on their phones.
How players pay
By card, through Stripe, with the money going to your own Stripe account. Or, if you allow it, by Venmo, Zelle or another method you name: the player says they paid, and you confirm it from the roster. Either way the team is confirmed only once its payment is.
What it costs
Creating an event is free. VB League takes a flat $3.70 on each card payment, alongside Stripe’s own card fee. For a registration paid outside VB League, or an entry you waive, the fee is $4.00 per player, collected once, the day before the event. There is no subscription and no percentage of your entry fees.
Getting started
- Create an organizer account and name your organization. Your site is live at once.
- Connect Stripe if you want card payments; add Venmo or Zelle if you take those.
- Create the event: dates, venue, courts, divisions, prices, the registration window.
- Publish. It is on the board and on your site the same minute.
